What is Imambara?
Fundamentally, Imambara, especially analogous to the remembrance of Muharram, is simply a convention hall where Shia Muslims gather together for performing various ceremonies, Muharram is basically a time period of mourning for all Muslims, especially for Shias, and imprints the anniversary of Battle of Karbala where Hussein-ibn-Ali, the grandest son of Muhammad, was killed in a battle.
